Based on the thermodynamic principle that water evaporation absorbs heat, when high‑temperature air flows over the surface of a moistened honeycomb wet pad, the evaporation of moisture absorbs sensible heat from the air (each kilogram of water evaporated can carry away approximately 540 kcal of heat), resulting in a significant drop in air temperature.
Negative Pressure Ventilation System
The negative-pressure fan exhausts the hot indoor air to create negative pressure, forcing outdoor air to pass through the wet pad and enter the room, thereby establishing a continuous airflow cycle and completing the cooling process—renewing the indoor air within 30 seconds.
Temperature drop
It can typically reduce air temperature by 5–15°C; for example, in a high‑temperature environment of 32–45°C, the temperature can drop to 26–30°C within 10 minutes.
The Influence of Temperature and Water Temperature
Evaporation efficiency increases as air humidity decreases; optimal cooling effects can be achieved with tap water at room temperature between 20–26°C, while excessively low water temperatures may slow down the evaporation rate.
